A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 8 P.M. for much of central and southern Virginia. This includes Metro Richmond, the Tri-Cities, Charlottesville and Fredericksburg. Isolated strong thunderstorms may produce damaging winds and hail.

A Tornado Watch is in effect until 11 P.M. for much of central and southeast Virginia. This includes the Metro Richmond area and points south and east down to Hampton Roads. Strong thunderstorms moving across the region may produce damaging winds, hail and even a few tornadoes.

Tornado Watch until 4 P.M. Louisa County & points N & W

A Tornado Watch is in effect until 4 P.M. for parts of central Virginia, including Louisa County and points north and west. A line of strong storms moving into and across the state may produce dangerous lightning, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, hail and potentially tornadoes.
