A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9 P.M. for the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula and Hampton Roads.  Strong thunderstorms developing across this region may produce damaging wind gusts to 70 mph and hail.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10 P.M. for Hanover County and points north.  A few strong storms developing across northern and central Virginia late this afternoon and this evening may contain damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail.
