A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for most of central Virginia until 8 P.M.  It includes Metro Richmond, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Farmville and the Northern Neck. Strong wind gusts up to 75 mph and large hail to 2" in diameter are possible.
