Flash Flood Watch in effect until 8 P.M.

A train of showers and thunderstorms will continue to produce moderate to heavy rain in counties along and just east of I-95 through the afternoon and early evening. Since we started out rather dry, the ground can only take so much. The National Weather Service has posted a Flash Flood Watch until 8 P.M. for these counties, including the Metro Richmond area and Tri-Cities. If you have to venture out, don't drive through water.
