A Tornado Watch is in effect until 8 A.M. west of Richmond and also well to the north. The watch includes Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Washington, D.C., Lynchburg & Danville (and west). Storms moving across the region may produce damaging wind gusts to 70 mph, hail and tornadoes.
